Save and Publish not working

    Working on my client his website, I been using Filezilla and phpmyadmin as host. Everything uploaded easily.

    When I am busy in the ‘customize’ section everything changes smoothly and shows up. The problem is that I can not “Save & Publish” anything. When I click this button, none of my changes are saved.

    I have tried:
    – Deactivating/Deleting all Plugins
    – Completely uninstalling and reinstalling WordPress
    – Using different internet browsers
    – Tried using multiple themes (still same problem)

    Any suggestions?

  • Just chiming in to say I’m having the same problem. Since 4.3 update, I can’t publish.

    The javascript console says:
    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot use ‘in’ operator to search for ‘length’ in 0
    load-scripts.php:2 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot use ‘in’ operator to search for ‘length’ in 0

    Hi all.

    Have you guys checked your Server’s PHP versions ? That plays a very big role. If its running on a lower PHP version than 5.4, pls ask your hosting providers to upgrade it to the latest. Then clear your server caches and retry it.

    And I’m back, that was quick.

    Turns out it was a problem with my theme, Katla.

    yeah I been uploading the wrong theme zip file,
    its all sorted.

    Please help me meetjk I have katla theme and i have the same problem. please advice me how you fixed

    We updated the theme and everything worked.
