• While editing a new child theme (based on GreatWP) I want to change to a bigger top-page-image (My WordPress is in Norwegian, not sure of the exact words in english ?? ), and I go trough the motions, find and crop an image and end up with a reasonably OK result.

Since this is a work “in progress” on an existing site (serienett.no) I want to quietly save changes and continue bugfixing and making the child-theme ready for a monday theme-change.

The only “save”-button I can find is the one saying “Aktiver og Publiser” – “activate and publish”, which does both of those things. For a great couple of seconds then my mainpage changes to the new layout while I must find and reactivate the existing theme.

Is this a bug, a feature or is there a button I am missing in the Norwegian version of WordPress or can I request a seperation between “save” and “publish” for themes that are not set as Active?

If I edit my existing theme I get button marked “Publiser” with a cog beside it, from where I can choose to save for later or plan change to be applied later on. Some verion of THIS I want while working on a non-activated theme as well.

    Please advice.
    Using 5.1.1–nb_NO
