Hello, I’m new to Quiz Maker but my first impressions are really good. I’d like to use the plugin for setting up online exams. Question: Is it possible to save answers on questions (in a cookie or in other ways) and continue and complete the questions later? If yes, how do I do that?

    Thanks,
    Oliver

    Dear @revilo2020de,

    Thank you for the topic.

First of all, thank you very much for your kind words.

Unfortunately, at the moment, the Quiz Maker plugin doesn’t have this kind of functionality.

By the way, thank you very much for your suggestion.
All suggestions are welcomed, as they are mutually beneficial for all of us and we will surely take them into consideration.

We will let you know in case we add this feature in one of the future updates.

    Thank you.

    Hello @hyenokian,

many thanks for your quick reply and information. I’d very much appreciate if this feature would be implemented, because it would really extend the scope of application of QM and improve usability for more extensive tests (at least with regard to e-learning and digital education).

Maybe this could be done easily by either setting a cookie containing given answers (with the risk of the cookie being deleted on browser exit according to the user’s settings) or by a individual url with neccessary information in the query-string (something like https://[domain]/[path-to-quiz]/?continue=[test-id]&q1=1_3&q2=a2&q3=a4&q4=text+answer&q5=...]). This might not be the most secure way (I admit I’m not a developer), but it may be easier and faster to develop than using database operations. Just a suggestion…

    Thank you and kind regrds,
    Oliver

    Dear @revilo2020de,

    Thank you for your reply.

Thank you very much for taking your time, making a suggestion, and also offering a solution in this regard.

I just want to mention, that we can’t keep a large amount of info in the GET.
It is limited and will not work in the way we want in all the cases.

Please be sure that we will let you know in case we make some changes in this regard.

    Thank you.
