“Save changes” is grey and unclickable

The “Save Changes” button being greyed out and unclickable is actually the intended behavior if there are no changes made to the settings. Even if you switch between sandbox and live mode, the button will remain inactive unless there is a modification in the settings. For example, enabling or disabling the “Logging” function should make the button clickable again.

Could you please confirm if the button becomes clickable after making a change like that? If not, it would be helpful if you could provide a short recording of your workflow, so we can better understand the exact issue you’re experiencing.

Let’s focus on this question: How to switch back to Live mode from Sandbox mode?

To be more clear, please just try following steps:

1. Get onboarding to the live mode.
2. Then, try Sandbox mode

That is fine with the above steps.

3. Now, just try to switch back to the Live mode from Sandbox mode, you will note there is no way to get back to live mode, because of the save change is unclickable.

In this situation, the only way to get back to Live Mode is push Clear button and get onboarding to Live Mode again, is that expected? I do not think so.

If you still want a short video after trying above steps, I will definitely upload one for you.

Thanks for steps to reproduce, we were able to replicate this. However, we will not be issuing a fix for this specific issue right now because we are currently working on a new settings UI that will address this and related issues. The updated interface should be available in the near future, which will essentially resolve this problem on its own.

Hi @alexli126 – I have same issue. I have found that I can switch between live and sandbox by changing any other setting on the page.

I usually add a character to the end of “Soft Descriptor” and then delete it immediately. This then enables the “Save” button.

Clunky but it works for me.
