• Dear team of 3CX,
First of all, thank you very much for the excellent work of your chat tool, which I have installed on my website for a trial period. As I offer data protection services myself, I have to make sure that everything works according to the law.

In Germany we have a new law since December 2021 (TTDSG). When a cookie is stored on an end device, consent must first be obtained from the user. The consent must comply with the requirements of the DSGVO. This means:
1. consent must take place before data processing (Art.
2. there must be a possibility to withdraw the consent (Art. 7 sec 3 GDPR)

But according to my estimation, unfortunately the cookie (PHPSESSID) is set before the GDPR consent and there is also no way to delete the cookie again at the tool (default: Art. 7 sec 3 sentence 4 "It shall be as easy to withdraw as to give consent").

Do you have an idea how the legal requirements can be met and is this possible for you (possibly also against sponsoring)?

Greetings from Hamburg
Matthias
