    Hi,

This plugin is great! I have a question or issue.

    I have a “image_small” media size (350px x 250 px), with default centered crop. It’s work ok.

But in some cases, I set the crop position to bottom center or top center, by manually clicking in “Image Details” popup. It’s work ok, but only one time.

If I regenerate the image thumbnails for some reason (wp cli or manually) it’s regenerate the image with centered position.

So it’s seems that it not save the crop position what I set before. Is there any settings, where I can save the crop position for specific images?

    Thank you.

    Hi David,

The crop position that is set in the plugin’s settings page for that sub-size is the position recognized by all actions in the plugin, also for bulk regenerate.

The manual crop of an image and selecting a different crop position in the lightbox is not intended to record the selected position associated with a sub-size for a specific post ID and use it later, it is only intended to generate the manually selected option in the view, on demand.

If your workflow is to manually update specific image sub-sizes, and then you run bulk regenerate, you could enable the option to bulk regenerate only the files that are missing, so that what is already generated stays as such.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Iulia
