• Some of the users of my cooking website (The Weekend Chef have expressed an interest in being able to tag their favorite recipes (posts) so they can come back and sort through just their favorites…I guess like mini-personal recipe boxes.

I’ve kind of scanned through the plugin sites a lot over the last few weeks and I don’t recall such a tool, but maybe I missed something?

Anyone know of a plugin that can be used for this?

  • I don’t think there’s any.

Bookmark script? I’ll make a small one right now =)

Intriguing idea for a plugin. I will play around with it to see what I can come up with.

No timeframe though, as I’ll be on vacation for the latter part of this month.

There. I didnt test it 100% so….I will later tho. There might be bugs bookmarking it from the post and not homepage. Im not quiet sure since my site takes like 5 minutes to update the code.

Podz: It adds a bookmark this text.

This is indeed a quick way of bookmarking a site, but no better than having visitors hitting the CTRL-D or CTRL-B on a particular page on your website.

I was thinking more along the lines of a full fledged “marking” tool integrated into WP. ??

Hmmm… yes, something were people could register and then “save” articles/recipes so that they could have access no matter what computer they sign on to the sight on…so, yes, something more like what Cypher is thinking.

*sigh* they also want nutritional info…that’s going to be a lot of tedious work for me. Dang health-minded people. ??
