Save file on server

  • Hi,
    I have tried but cannot get a file (pdf, docx) to save on the server when the form is submitted.

    I have tried using the wp_handle_upload but this fails giving error: “specified file failed upload test”.

    I was wondering if anyone knows a way to save and uploaded file from the CF7 form and the path to that file once saved.

    Thanks for any help you can give.

    Hi and thanks.
    So if I use the hook wpcf7_before_send_mail I can grab a copy from there?
    Or is there a better way?

    I’d rather not use a plugin for this.
