Save for web?

    Hi,

    If a user uploads an image that’s, for example, around 6mb in filesize will this plugin resize it for more realistic web sizes? eg down to around 200 or 300kb like when you do ‘save for web’ in photoshop.

    Thank you for contacting us!

    The plugin will not resize the images. It will compress the image making the filesize smaller when at the same time keep fantastic visible quality. How much the image can be compressed depends on several factors so it’s hard to say exactly how much smaller the image can be. However in many cases the plugin can shrink the filsize by more than 70%!

    You can always test the compression of images here to get a better understanding on how much the images can be compressed:
