• Is there a way to save a page you are working on without publishing it? You can do this with posts but there’s no button for it when writing a page.

Easy for you to say. ?? Especially when I use more than one computer. ?? Back to floppies.

use some kind of online notepad

You might consider drafting posts instead of pages, then copy n paste to a page when you’re ready to publish. You’d need to delete the draft post of course, but you’d still be working within the program instead of using some other outside functionality….

Or reuse that draft if you dont want to lose post counts

Might be a good suggestion for the devs to include this option. I personally have pages I would like to “suspend” for awhile – like a “Position Opening” page. For now I just leave it up with a “Filled” notice and then replace it with the text of the next position when it opens.
