When a user selects BACS as payment option on shop, their card details would be securely saved onto their ‘My Account’ that they can re-use as the payment method and details again in the future.

  • Hi @classicjmnl – There is not a way with default functionality to allow customers to save payment details using the default Direct Bank Transfer / BACS payment method. BACS works by providing your banking details directly to the customer after purchase, rather than by them providing any card details to you.

There are other payment gateway plugins, such as Stripe, that allow customers to pay via card and save their payment method details and use them for the future. I recommend checking out other payment gateway plugin options here: https://woocommerce.com/product-category/woocommerce-extensions/payment-gateways/

Let me know if you have any questions on this!

Yes. This is exactly what I need

But I don’t have Stripe in my country so I only use PayPal and it has a feature that customers can input their card details even without PayPal account so I am wondering if their payment method details could be saved and then they can see their Saved Payments Details (only the last 4 digits of card is visible) on their ‘My Account’ page.

    Hi @classicjmnl

Storing customer card information is a feature only authorized by payment gateways. Using PayPal Standard, PayPal does not permit this feature.
