“Save payment information”?

  • Is there a functionality that allows payment methods to be saved for logged-in users? Perhaps an option under the card entry section in checkout, something like “Save for future use”, similar to what many online shops offer

    The Mollie Payment for WooCommerce currently does not have the feature to save payment methods for logged-in users directly through a “Save for future use” option during the checkout process. Currently, payment methods are saved as mandate references within a WooCommerce subscription (the parent order) and are utilized for future renewal payments of that specific subscription.

    However, we are excited to share that developing a more general feature to save mandates as payment tokens is on our roadmap. This upcoming feature aims to enhance the checkout experience by allowing easier and faster transactions in future purchases, akin to the functionality you’ve mentioned.
