    Hi,

is it possible to save the statistics after declaring a winner? I would like to see the test results from all tests which I have made. It seems that they will also be deleted. It is a real shame and I think that there are more people who would enjoy this feature.

    Best regards,

    Chekki

    Hi Chekki,

On the right hand side in your test’s edit screen you’ll see two options, Archive or Delete. This controls what happens after you declare a winner.

The other alternative you can do is simply “Pause” a test. This keeps the test and the two pages in-tact but lets you set visitors to the master only again without recording stats.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi thanks for your reply.

But it doesn′t help because I can′t see the results after I have declared a winner (even though I am restoring the looser).

And Pause the test doesn′t help because I would like to use the winner after a significant test result.

I only need an overview about all tests I have made and which results they produced. This helps me to understand the results better and I prevent doubling the test.

    Hi Chekki,

I’ve just raised a new feature ticket for us to find a way to archive report data so that it can be retained within the system.

It might just be as simple as another test status called “archived” which means the SPT post will be retained in the system but can’t be reactivated. The declaring routines would remain as is and the master page would be replaced with the winner.

In the meantime I suggest recording the data yourself for historical purposes prior to declaring the winner as the test does get deleted currently.

    Cheers,
    Josh
