Saved me a bunch of time. Works great!

I recently built a new theme for a client, and when I transferred the database from the development server to the live server a bunch of weird character strings started appearing randomly throughout the content. I started going into every post and fixing them manually, but with more than 200 posts I needed a more efficient solution. This plugin provided it. It works like a charm!
