    Hi guys,

first of all: thanks for a really great plug-in.
I have a couple of issues though.

We switched to your plugin from “Braintree for WooCommerce Payment Gateway” by WooCommerce.

We sell a lot of subscriptions and the former plug-in saved both, Credit Cards and also PayPal accounts of our customers, so the renewal payments can be processed. Customers could see their saved payment methods within their account section under my-account/payment-methods/

With your plugin, there are a couple of issues:

    1. The formerly saved PayPal accounts seem the be there, but under “My Account -> Payment Methods” they are not being labeled as PayPal accounts with the PayPal logo. There’s just an empty string in the first column under “Method”. Saved Credit Cards are being displayed just fine.

    2. When trying to add a new payment method under “My Account -> Payment Methods”, there’s no option to add a PayPal account. You can only add new Credit Cards. Is this a limitation of your plug-in? I am just wondering because when changing the payment method for an active subscription, there seems to be the option to add a PayPal account.

    3. As a logged-in user with a saved PayPal account, when going through the checkout and selecting PayPal, I can choose between the saved PayPal account (again, without a label) and I can choose to checkout with a different PayPal account. The issue here is that these two options are labeled as “Saved Card” and “New Card”. Those are the same labels as for the Credit Card payment option where they make sense but for PayPal, the options should be labeled as “Saved Account” and “New Account”. The term “Card” is pretty confusing here.

Are you aware of this or is this a problem with our specific setup?
I am looking forward to your reply.

    Best regards

    Hi @henski,

first of all: thanks for a really great plug-in.

We’re glad that you like the plugin.

    1. That is not supposed to be how it’s displayed. Were these payment methods that were saved when you had the other Braintree plugin installed? If so it’s most likely a formatting issue due to different fields that the other plugin saved in your database. Have you saved a new PayPal payment method and checked the Payment Methods page?

    2. We didn’t add PayPal since it’s already a payment method wallet and stores the payment info. It seemed like an unnecessary redundancy to add PayPal to the Add Payment Method page. We could add it back but never had any requests from merchants.

    3. We can update the text in the next release and we’ll also add a filter so you can customize the text to be anything you like.

    Kind Regards,
