Save/Publish points me to a blank page

    This problem occurred even before I upgraded to 2.5.

    Basically, I didn’t touch anything in my FTP, but when I click “Save” or “Publish” button after I finished my post, it loads to a Blank wp-admin/post.php.

    My post never get posted no matter how I tried (e.g. replacing the post.php with a new one at FTP).

    Does anyone know how to resolve this?
    It is really really really annoying and I need to post my stuff. ??

    Good question, I would ask my Hoster for that Info.

    Same problem here. And I can’t figure out how to fix it.

    I don’t see how the mod_security would be an issue since nothing has changed in the last 24 hours. I posted a new entry yesterday without any trouble at all.

    I can’t even get the new entry to save let alone publish.

    Stumbled upon this link from a friend of mine.

    Basically you have to disable all plug-ins and then reactivate them one by one.

    Well, that is the way you should on each upgrade!

    I don’t have a “deactivate all plugins” button. So I did it one at a time and that didn’t work. ??

    Still not sure what I can do to fix it.

    Found out how to disable in the DB.

    juliecinci, you need to deactivate one plugin after the other. At least thats what I meant when saying “deactivate all plugins”.

    Still experiencing the same problem as euniqueflair – I’ve tried playing with the plugins, and pretty much done everything a limited non-nerd like myself possibly can, but nothing.

    Please, someone, anyone, how to get rid of the blank wp-admin/post.php page and start posting again ??

    Same problem here. Have only made the site a few days ago with 2.5.1 and now blank pages when ever I save or publish anything. Very annoying. Will probably have to rebuild site because I don’t have time to mess around.

    1. Have never even activated plugins in the first place.
    2. Have deleted the “active_plugin” row wp_options as suggested by other threads
    3. Am only trying to post very short posts

    Anyone got any suggestions??

    OK after trying to everything…it appears there was something wrong with my theme’s functions.php which is used by the admin pages. Switched out the functions.php from the default kubrick theme and every worked fine again.

    Thanks Rowan, I had this problem having an empty function.php in my theme directory. Deleting the file fixed the blank page on post problem for me.
