Saving and posting a post takes 30 seconds

    Hello!

    After the last WordPress update, the process of saving and posting a post has become very slow – taking 30 seconds. It takes 30 seconds to get the post link before sharing it on social media.

    The penultimate WordPress update slowed the process down to 15 seconds. Last update made it 30 seconds.

    The problem occurs on all posts, regardless of their content.

    Hm, it definitely shouldn’t be that slow, mine are all less than 5 seconds.

    This problem may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to deactivate all plugins and switch to the default Twenty Twenty-Four theme. If the problem goes away, re-activate them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to deactivate all plugins and change the theme for you while you’re still logged in without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    Thank you. I discovered that the problem was related to the Simple WordPress Membership plugin. I’ll get back to them.
