Saving Changes

When I create a form and enter save the usual little yellow progress bar pops up on the right side of the screen “saving form”. The HTML and shortcode line below the save button is gone. If I go to the form list the form is there with only the title that has been saved. I’ve had trouble with mailpoet before sometimes not saving my chages as I make them so I always watch for the yellow bar and if I don’t see it I will re-save multiple times. On a related note I have never been able to get the changes to the “subscribe button” to work. I had given up on that a couple of years ago, but since I am here.
Any help would be appreciated.
