When I want to save the changes in the “users” settings or I want to change the email text and save it, I get the error 404.

I did the plugin/theme conflict test. Did not solve my problem.

    Hello @nagymarton

Do you mean the admin area settings?

    Regards.

    Yes.

    for example I can’t save the wp-admin > Ultimate Mebmers > settings > general > users.

but I also have problems with the emails. Wp-admin > UM > settings > Email. For example if I change the Welcome Email I can’t save, because by pressing “save changes” I get 404 Error.

    I can’t save the wp-admin > Ultimate Mebmers > settings > general > users.

Ask your web hosting if they have any security/firewall app activated for protecting your database.

if I change the Welcome Email I can’t save

A 404 html error when saving custom email templates
is probably the file system permission settings at your active theme.

I still can’t save the email settings. I can’t turn on/off, and I can’t change the text in the emails. When I hit save in the email settings, I get 404 Error.

If I change the permalinks to “plain”, I get Forbidden 403 error. (I’ve tried deactivate every other plugin, and using Twenty Twenty-Four theme)

    Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access this resource.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
