I’m attempting to connect up to FitnessFest.org’s Constant Contact account, but continually says I do not have sufficient permissions, despite connecting to the admin level account at Constant Contact. Screenshot attached.

    Please advise.

    Hi @strive4impact

Is the connected account a secondary administrator? or the account **owner**? Asking because we need the account owner to be the one connected.

Tried with 2 different sub accounts before finding error log. Removed sub-accounts (disconnected), then tried again with admin (after waiting), and still same error.

Janice’s is the one you’d want to use with her listed as owner.

Beyond that specific error, has the plugin appeared to be working, like you can get lists sync’d up and create forms that submit to the list(s) chosen?

Did you ever get this one resolved @strive4impact ?

Thanks for checking in. No, it hasn’t been resolved and the client has me hunting for options for moving away from Constant Contact (MailChimp, Infusionsoft, ActiveCampaign, etc.), because they are really frustrated – as am I.

Would really appreciate some hands-on help to get it resolved.

It’s not for lack of effort or time investment. It just doesn’t ever work.

Could we set a time to screenshare on a live call (Zoom/Google Meet/etc.) and get it resolved? May need to coordinate with FitnessFest since they have the admin code being sent to them, but really would like to get it resolved ASAP.

As much as I wish I could, I’m actually not one who can help on the account access and user privileges front, I’m largely just the WordPress plugins side.

The fine folks over at https://www.constantcontact.com/about/contact-us will be able to help at that level more and help figure out what access each user attempted so far should have, especially with API version 2 in regards to working with the forms plugin version 1.13.0 here.

I’m more than willing to still help where I can based on what they say, but there’s not much I can do on that front from the plugin’s standpoint right now.
