    Hi Jordi

I just wanted to flag an issue with the ‘scaled images’ feature in WP 5.3. I thought I’d post this in case other people are having the same issues.

I’ve been finding that if I go back and adjust an image in Lightroom and then republish, WordPress creates a new image with a file name that has a file name that goes ‘[ORIGINAL FILE NAME]-scaled-scaled.jpg’ (presumably to avoid overwriting the ‘[ORIGINAL FILE NAME]-scaled.jpg’) version of the image. This can mean that image links get broken.

It looks like the easiest fix is to either disable image scaling using the Disable big image threshold plugin, or change the Lightroom export settings so the uploaded images are smaller than the WP big image threshold.

    Hi,

Thanks for the report. I am thinking of adding an option to disable this directly in WP/LR Sync as well ?? I don’t really like this “scaled” feature, and, when you are using WP/LR Sync, it doesn’t make much sense to have it enabled.

Thanks Jordy. An option to disable for uploads from Lightroom would be a neat solution.
