    Hello guys,
first would like to say that I love you theme. It does everything I need for my blog. However I ran in to a problem. I could not see the problem when uploading a featured image with white background all looks fine but when i upload an image with border I can see that it is not scaled correctly on the post thumbnail or on the Related Posts section. It is cut off either on the sides or on top/bottom.
So what size image should I upload to be scaled perfectly on all thumbnails? Or is there other fix for the problem.

    Thank You for your help.

    Hi,
Related posts and other featured images have different width and height ratio, that’s why WordPress crop featured images as required.
Rather than adding border in images we can use CSS code to add border around featured images. Please let us know if you want to use that solution.

I think what would like to know is how to put a hover image on top of the featured box.

This is what I am trying to achieve: https://static4.depositphotos.com/1001391/328/v/950/depositphotos_3289195-Corner-ribbon-with-a-blank-leaf.jpg

I tried to add the ribbon on the image, but when it gets cropped it does not look good. So If I had this ribbon somehow on top of the featured box then it will look great with the featured image under it. So all Items from category “best sellers” will have ribbon “popular”, all items from “top picks” will have ribbon “recommended” does that makes seance?

After all it is a review theme so I would like to be able to outline new, featured and recommended items somehow.

What you are asking requires customization and we can’t cover that under support. Hope this clears. If anything, please let us know. Good day.
