I have WooCommerce Table Rate Shipping Version 3.0.8 – a paid-for plugin by WooCommerce active on one of my sites.

WordFence has not found an issue with this scanning the site before today. Today it says it detected this:

“WooCommerce Table Rate Shipping Module” appears to be abandoned (updated June 27, 2013, tested to WP 3.5.2).
    Type: Plugin Abandoned
    Issue Found May 28, 2018 11:10 am

I FTP’d in to check whether the plugin was installed but not visible in Admin, but I cannot see it there – only the correct version of the correct plugin 3.0.8

Is the issue at your end perhaps, or something with the identifiers in the WP repository that it is picking up this https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-table-rate-shipping/ by the plugin author ‘Nethus’, rather than the paid-for plugin from WooCommerce that I have installed?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi David,

If the paid plugin has the same slug as the free one, I mean like this one “woocommerce-table-rate-shipping”, then that’s the reason why Wordfence is picking up the free version from the plugins repository. In this case you can just click on “Ignore” icon on that entry in the scan results section.

    Thanks.
