scan broke server

    on trying to run website scan with malcure website froze.
    website and scan admin page crashed.
    now website is completely frozen and can’t access cpanel.
    is it possible the scan is still running without any windows open?
    if so, is there any way to kill the process or other ideas as to what might be happening?

    You can use ftp or any file manager and delete the plugin from the website.

    This plugin shouldn’t hang anything unless the server is painfully slow or has some kind of firewall blocking or blacklist.

    Thank you for the quick reply.
    It appears the web host blocked my IP since scanning the files must cause many hits from my IP?
    Gained access through a VPN now and noticed that all plugins are deactivated.
    The plugins folder was renamed to “plugins-renamed”.
    Is this something your plugin would do, or do I need to look further for the cause of this?
