    We already rebuild our site just to make sure we didn’t get this message anymore. but still the scan doesn’t continue because of this message “Scan can’t continue – stored data not found after a fork. Got type: boolean” We already did some of the options mentioned on the previous same topics, and still we can’t find a way to solve this problem. Please help me to understand and resolve this issue.

    This is a rare error — we do have one possible fix planned for a future version of Wordfence, but in the meantime, you might be able to prevent it by changing the option “Maximum execution time for each scan stage” to 15 or 12, on the Wordfence Options page, and then trying the scan again.

    You might also need to check if the following directory is writable:
    wp-content/plugins/wordfence/tmp/

    (Temporary scan data is sometimes stored in that directory, depending on your database server’s settings.)

    Is your site on shared hosting, or on a dedicated server or VPS?

    I’ve tried the option above and set it to 12 or 15 but still boolean meesage occurs and the scan stopped. Also when I viewed the activity log found this red line that says:

    [Nov 14 01:15:13:1447463713.877876:4:error] gzinflate(): data error (2) File: /home4/thewizar/public_html/mywebsite.com/wp-includes/class-http.php Line: 2136

    Ok, thanks for trying that. Since it did not help, you can make the “Maximum execution time for each scan stage” option blank again, and save the changes.

    Were you able to check that the temporary directory is writable?
    (It is: wp-content/plugins/wordfence/tmp/ )

    The “gzinflate()” error is ok in this case — it is something that WordPress itself does to check if it is receiving compressed content, but it normally prevents the error message from appearing anywhere. Wordfence enables extra error reporting during scans, to make sure any other unusual errors appear in the log.

    Do you know where to find the site’s error log file? There may be a message there that gives more detail about what is happening. Usually it is available through a host’s control panel (separate from your WordPress installation).

    Also, if the site is on a VPS or dedicated server, can you see if there are any messages in MySQL’s error log? You probably cannot get this if you are on shared hosting, but the host may be able to give you part of it that is related to your site’s database.
