Scan failed certificate has expired

  • Hi, I get this error (on multiple sites) when I start a scan.

    Scan Failed
    The scan has failed because we were unable to contact the Wordfence servers. Some sites may need adjustments to run scans reliably. Click here for steps you can try.

    The error returned was:

    There was an error connecting to the Wordfence scanning servers: cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired

  • Same here – over two dozen sites.

    Disabled all plugins to test – no result.

    Confirmed that the SSL certificate is active.

    Hi Everybody

    The issue with Wordfence scanning servers seems to be solved.

    Try to deactivate the Wordfence plugin and then activate it again.

    It worked for me

    Same problem here. I confirmed that my server has working SSL.
