Scan failed1
-
Hello guys, I have a problem with a site https://www.italgresoutlet.it
Everytime, the scan failed after few minutes. I check the guide and follow every step, but I can’t fix the problem.

Hello @mkbarraco and thanks for reaching out to us!
Can you do the following so I can get the information I need to help you?
- Kill the existing scan if it is still running (The “Start New Scan” button turns in to a “Stop” button while the scan is running)
- Go to your Scan > Scan Options and Scheduling page and locate the “Performance Options”
Set “Maximum execution time for each scan stage” to 20 on the options page - Click to “Save Changes”
- Go to the Tools > Diagnostics page
- In the “Debugging Options” section check the circle “Enable debugging mode”
- Click to “Save Changes”.
- Start a new scan
- Copy the last 20 lines from the Log (click the “Show Log” link) or so of the activity log and paste them in the post.
On occasion, this fixes it straight away. That’s because adding 20 for the “Maximum execution time for each scan stage” tells the scan to pause every 20 seconds and start again where it left off. If this fixes the issue and scans run again, you can leave all the settings above except for “Enable Debugging Mode”.
Thanks!
Hi @wfadam thank you for reply.
Following your step, the scan starts and go on for few minutes, more before.
But… the issue still remain. This is the log

Looks like something might be wrong with the cron key or a data table.
Can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.
I can review your tables to see if there are any issues.
Thanks!
Thank you @wfadam
I sent you the diagnostic report
I was not able to locate it @mkbarraco
Could you try again for me? Make sure to follow the guide posted above. It will send it directly to me.
Thanks!
Sure!
“Diagnostic report has been sent successfully”
Can you see the email now?
Still not receiving it @mkbarraco
Try to send yourself a test email in Tools > Diagnostics > Other Tests.
Have you been receiving any Wordfence Alert emails?
Wordfence just uses the hosting SMTP for email.
Let me know what you find!
Thanks!
Got it that time @mkbarraco
Looks like your crons are not processing. If you look at the diagnostic, you will see they all say “Overdue”.
I suggest downloading and installing a plugin called WP Crontrol:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-crontrol/That should help clean that up. Let me know how that goes!
Thanks!
Since they are all overdue, another thing to try would be whitelisting your own web server IP within Wordfence.
Also, I noticed the
DISABLE_WP_CRON
is set to disable in your WordPress settings. Is this intentional? You might want to check with your host to see why this is not enabled. Once you do enable them, I recommend clearing all the old crons and let them repopulate. As always, back up your site before making any changes!
Let me know what you find!
Thanks!
thank you @wfadam , I installed WP Control plugin and changed more scheduling.
Then, I’m waiting for host answer about disable_wp_cron.
This isn’t my website, the owner is a customer of mine
Once you get the disable_wp_cron changed over to Enabled. I suggest removing all the old crons using WP Crontrol and seeing if that helps!
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks!
