    Hi

I connected my sites to WordFence Central but it seems to cause problems. Sites show as scanning that has not been scanning for ages. I’ve refreshed the page but no difference. There does not seem to be an option to stop a scan from WordFence Central? On the site itself, it does not show was scanning.

I assume this is the reason why my scans keep failing – all scans were fine before, nothing changed on the server:
    Scan Failed
The current scan looks like it has failed. Its last status update was 7 mins ago. You may continue to wait in case it resumes or stop and restart the scan. Some sites may need adjustments to run scans reliably.

How do I tell Wordfence central that a site is not being scanned?

    Thanks
    Vernita

  • Hey @redswirl,

Can you try removing the site from Central on the plugin side, then reconnect it and let me know if it helps?

    Thanks,

Thank you, I discovered the settings where I can stop a scan so stopped all of them from Wordfence central. The rest of the day it seemed fine. I sent an email to samples@ regarding Wordfence files that show as malware. I’m hoping it is false postives. Please let me know what you think when you read the emails.

    Hey @redswirl,

Thanks for the update, and happy to hear it.

Can you please send the files to [email protected]? Please include your www.ads-software.com username and a link to this thread. Also, please update this thread in case we miss the email.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
