• Hi guys.
    My site was hacked today.
The damage was pretty much: Deleted my custom css and all images that were in the main WP folder. The images that were uploaded in my gallery plug-ins folders are still there. And some of my plug-ins were also deleted. Nothing serious. Its just annoying. I installed all in one WP security plug-in. But is there a way to scan my site for some bad code that might make problems in the future?
    Thank you in advance.
    Best regards, Vlad!

There’s a lot you’ll need to do, as you’ll have to take steps to either identify the vector they used to get in, or at least remove or replace all plausible vectors.

Remain calm and carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

Thank you very much for the quick response.
I will follow the guide and we will see what will happen.
In my opinion the hack is mostly to delete some common files (not destroy the site, just annoy the owner). I doubt that there will be something left, but better safe than sorry :D.
I just made a full “backup” with the WP clone plug-in just in case.
And just so you know, the only reason that I’m not very calm is that i have deleted all the images from my PC after i uploaded them. It will be quite a pain in the a$$ to find and resize them again ??
