    Hi,

    I’m running WordPress 3.8.2 and Wordfence 5.0.2.

    I ran a successful scan earlier today, but now when I attempt another scan, during the “Fetching core, theme and plugin file signatures from Wordfence” I receive the following error:

    Scan terminated with error: Invaid response from Wordfence servers.

    Has anyone come across this before – I’ve run the “Click to test connectivity to the Wordfence API servers” from the Wordfence/options and all test passed – just can’t work out now why the actual scan fails.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Same here…

    5 fails over the past hour.
    Test connectivity to the Wordfence API servers

    Wordfence connectivity tester
    DNS lookup for noc1.wordfence.com returns: 69.46.36.8
    STARTING CURL http CONNECTION TEST….
    Curl connectivity test passed.
    STARTING CURL https CONNECTION TEST….
    Curl connectivity test passed.
    Starting wp_remote_post() test
    wp_remote_post() test to noc1.wordfence.com passed!

    am Also facing the issue. I have tried numerous times but the result is same

    Issue is now resolved.

    We had a temporary outage on one of our servers which affected the ability for some customers to perform scheduled and manual scans. The server in question has now been brought back online and scanning is available. During this time all other functions that Wordfence provides on your site continued uninterrupted. The service that we experienced a problem with was the ability to verify the integrity of your files on your site which is a part of the scan function of Wordfence.

    We’re investigating this internally and will take steps to ensure the service continues without interruption in future.
