Scan the cookies? Send data to Datalayer?

1) Our plugin has a feature called Cookie Scanner to scan cookies on your site.

2) When consent is given for GTM cookies, our plugin will unblock its script. So, the data will be sent to GTM. However,to manage different services configured via GTM script using separate categories in GDPR Cookie Consent you must use our premium plugin, as it is not supported in the free version.

In the free version, the GTM script must be added to a single category, say analytics, in our plugin through GDPR Cookie Consent > Cookie Category so that it will be allowed to run the script when a user gives consent for that category.

For 2) do you mean that in the free version I will be able to just catch ‘analytics’ event. But in the premium I will be able get both:’analytics’ and ‘marketing‘ events.

It doesn’t mean in the free version Analytics alone is captured. If you have configured inside GTM Analytics and marketing etc tags all the cookies should be categorized under the same category in order to enable cookie blocking before giving consent.

In the premium version, you can configure each tag and trigger separately using the code snippet provided in our documentation.

In the free version, if you are not using GTM and want to add Google Analytics, you can copy the scripts to the Analytics category of the plugin. Go to GDPR Cookie Consent > Cookie Category > Analytics and in the script section paste the script. This will allow the script to run only when user consent is received.

I understood that the free version will fire an event (just a simple event like ACCEPTED/NOT ACCEPTE) in GTM Previou Mode, but it does not.

Did I miss something in the plugin settings to get this event?
