SCANS will not complete

    My scans will not complete, either. I have the latest WordPress version and plugin version installed and activated.

    Except one time, every SCAN stalls at about 2200-2400 files and 25-35 MB data analyzed.

    One time it completed when I iteratively increased the Options “Maximum memory Wordfence can use” from 256 to 384 MB. It’s still on 384 MB now but the scans won’t complete.
    I did set the “Maximum execution time for each scan stage” to 15 secs too.
    My options page DOES NOT contain an option labeled: ““Maximum execution time for each scan stage”. There is a “max_execution_time” but that’s clearly not the same.

    Updated to 5.06

    No change. In fact it hangs earlier, right after the heartbleed test.
    Only 500 files scanned.

    The specific issue with hanging on heartbleed is now fixed. No need to upgrade, the fix was on our scanning servers.
