Scare tactics to make you pay

  • The plugin actually creates a critical issue with your health check status if you do not subscribe to their premium plan.
    This is unacceptable to goad less knowledgeable users into paying because they think they don’t have any other options

    This is completely untrue. The plugin does not force users to subscribe to paid plans.

    It tries to alert user that they should integrate with the tool that does handle multiple aspects of compliance which can’t be handled with just a plugin.

    @dfactory no, its not. your plugin does create a critical issue. and @ainlinaprops is not writing about any force. i must say i do agree, these messages tend to raise panic and i’ll call it what it is: spam

    yep, spam it is. And they’ve just done it again by hijacking the main WP dashboard. Still 1 star.

    Have to agree, its unwarranted, shouldn’t be in site health at all
