Schedule Private Posts?

Is there a way to schedule a post to publish in the future with a private status? We’ve been using the schedule feature without issue, but have recently needed to also add the “Private” visibility to certain posts, but still want to schedule them in advance. Currently, if we try to do this, the private post publishes immediately and shows the future date on it rather than waiting until that date to publish.
