Schedule Slides

    I have the pro pack and I want to schedule a slide. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find any documentation on this feature. It’s 100% possible I’m just missing it somewhere.

    Anyway, I have a need to schedule a slide but I’m unsure that I have my settings right and testing is not really an option at the moment.

    Unfortunately, it looks like I can’t insert a screen shot so I’ll need to describe my settings.

    I have a slide that I want to show starting July 6th first thing in the morning and then turn off July 10th at the last minute of the day. So my settings:

    2021-07-06 at 00 : 01
    2021-07-10 at 23 : 59

    My assumption is a 24 clock since there is no am/pm setting.

    Also, do I need/can I leave all the day check marks checked even though my timer is short and does not fall on all of those days? Does it matter?

    And I’m also assuming I should leave the all day checkbox checked since I want the slide to show all day on the days I have selected.

    And finally, I would want the times to be est. Does the timer get it’s time from the server? So if the server is in a different time zone, do I need to account for that?

    Sorry if these are basic questions but again, I couldn’t seem to find documentation on this feature and it will be my butt if it’s set wrong… lol.

    > Yes, the hour is using a 24 hour format.

    > Yes, it should be fine. The purpose of the days is if you uncheck one of the days, then all the unchecked day within the given period will not be displayed.

    3. And I’m also assuming I should leave the all day checkbox checked since I want the slide to show all day on the days I have selected.
    > Checking the All day will ignore the time period set below the All day checkbox.

    4. And finally, I would want the times to be est. Does the timer get it’s time from the server? So if the server is in a different time zone, do I need to account for that?
    > The time is based on what timezone you set in your WordPress’ general settings.
