    Hi,
The entered time is not storing when we try to set schedule time for auto update. After ‘Save Settings’, we could see that only the real time clock updating to the next minute. We are unable to see the entered time. Due to which we cannot assume at what time auto update is taking place. Please suggest.
And Thanks for this wonderful plugin.
    Thanks in advance.
    Manoj

    Hi,
I actually just noticed this myself so I’ll be sure to fix this asap ??
    Glad you like our plugin!

Just pushed version 3.0.4 which fixes this issue.
    Thank you for reporting it!

    Hi Papin,
looking forward to getting the benefit of auto updates, thanks for the plugin!

However i’ve installed 3.0.4 and still can’t get the scheduler to work correctly. It won’t actually accept the time I want to set! The only way I can get the time setting I want is to set it one hour ahead of my preferred time, then click ‘Save Changes’.

Yet to see if it actually does update at the time i’ve set.

Will it update items already requiring updating when it’s installed, or do we have to do those manually?

Seems like an issue with WordPress, I’m working on version 3.0.5 at the moment so I’ll see if I can fix it in this version. Update should be ready in a few days ??

It will update all plugins, it doesn’t matter when you’ve activated this plugin.

OK thanks Papin, I can confirm that all updates were performed automatically even though I wasn’t able to change the schedule.

Thanks again for your great work with the plugin..

    Hi Papin,

You have done the wonder with 3.0.7..Thanks a ton..It works for me. Now only to see whether the updates are really taking place on the saved hour.

I have a small query: Is the email notifications are being sent via php mail or SMTP? Many servers now a days disabled ‘php mail’ options to prevent spam. And i am not receiving any notifications may be due to this. My server is allowing mails send through SMTP only. Please dont feel that we are overloading you… LOL..

    Thanks once again..

    Regards,

    Manu

It uses the default WordPress mail function, which I believe is powered by PHP mail. Do other emails work or is it just emails from this plugin that don’t work?
And don’t worry, you can never ask too many questions ??
