    Hi,

    I have 60,000 “woocommerce_run_product_attribute_lookup_update_callback” actions created withing a 12 hour period.

Despite deleteing the completed actions from the table 2,500 pending get created every 30 mins

This has been going on some time..

  • Hi @csyecommerce

Did you initiate product attributes lookup table regeneration from WooCommerce > Status > Tools?

If yes, then it is normal for it to take some time for the process to be completed and during that time “woocommerce_run_product_attribute_lookup_update_callback” actions will get created, which should stop once the table regeneration is completed. So there is nothing to be alarmed.

You can take a look at WooCommerce > Status > Scheduled Actions to find out if there is a large number of pending tasks.

Just for your information, you can use the WP Crontrol plugin to manage scheduled tasks.

I hope you find this information helpful.

    Hi,
yes I did initiate product attributes lookup table regeneration but that was some weeks ago.
actions keep getting created over and over..

I had to delete over a million completed actions, i cant take daily copies over my database as the tables are too big.. a days worth of completed actions is 100,000

    Hi there,

Thanks for providing more details on this.

Could you install the WP Crontrol plugin as suggested above and share a screenshot of the screen that you see when you navigate to WP Admin > Tools > Cron Events and search for the hook woocommerce_run_product_attribute_lookup_update_callback?

Could you also share a copy of your System Status and any fatal error logs under WooCommerce > Status > Logs? You can find your System Status via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Cheers.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread closed for now – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
