    I met the warning below.

    Warning: WordPress has a number (800) of scheduled tasks which are overdue. Unless this is a development site, this probably means that the scheduler in your WordPress install is not working. Read this page for a guide to possible causes and how to fix it.

    How can I get rid this warning and scheduled backup feature make working?

    Hi,

    Your site has a number of overdue scheduled tasks. This indicates that there may be an issue with the WordPress scheduler.

    Please could you add the following line to your wp-config.php file (near the top, just after the database configuration:

    define( ‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true );

    Does this allow the backup to complete now?

    Best Wishes,
    Bryle

    Hi Bryle,

    Thanks for your message.

    It seems like backup is working now.
    But I’d like to remove the warning bar.
    It is still appears there.

    How can I hide the message above?

    Regards, Maurice

    Hi Maurice,

    It will go away once the backup has successfully completed.
