    Hi,

    I experiment with 6 different pages, and have set up Updraft exactly the same way.
    Backup daily
    Stored to Google Drive

    3 backups run, 3 simply do not.

    How can I figure out what the reason for this is?

    Hi,

    Please could you send us a copy of the latest backup log? This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
    The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Best Wishes,

    Hey there…

    well, actually I cannot because the backup did not run on 3 instances, so there is no log. The backups that did not work have one thing in common – they run under the same domain.

    A.com -> works
    B.com -> works
    C.com -> works
    D.com/x -> does not work (no log)
    D.com/y -> does not work (no log)
    D.com/z -> does not work (no log).

    However, I realized that there are backups available now. About 10,5 hours later it run the backups on all the D.com domains as well. I can find those files also on Google Drive.

    There is a log, but I think it won’t help. Obviously it worked now, but 10,5 hours later.

    No idea why, as I am not aware about setting up a time for the backup.

    I activated debugging on all 6 instances. Let’s see what happens in the next 12 hours.

    Hi,

    From the log that you sent it shows that the backup has successfully completed.

    Can you please provide us more details? Do you see any errors when backing up the site?

    Hi,

    as I mentioned the log is useless.
    If the backup runs -> there is a log
    If the backup does not run -> there is no log.

    So the backup obviously did not run, so there was no log.
    Next day I realized the backup performed successfully, just many many hours delayed. That’s the log I sent you.

    My issue is that obviously it is not really stable / constant. It seems as sometimes the backup does not run. I activated debugging now, and if I see next time a problem with the backup I can send you that information.

    Update: just checked, today it worked. All 6 pages successful. Let’s see if that stays stable now.
