I am a premium subscriber of the MailPoet newsletter plug-in and have submitted this issue 3 times over the course of the past 5 days via the support.mailpoet.com site and have not received a reply. It looks like I’m more likely to receive a reply here.

We are having an issue with scheduled newsletter not being sent. We have 3 newsletters scheduled to send once monthly. Prior to their scheduled time to be sent, the newsletters are shown in blue in the list, and they read correctly: “Next send out on November 5, 2014 11:00 am (if there’s new content).” However once the send time comes and goes, the newsletter never get sent, and the message changes to: “Next send out in (if there’s new content).” At that point, nothing else happens with that newsletter until it gets de-activated and re-activated, at which point the next schedule date will appear. The “Enable MailPoet’s Cron” setting is enabled.

One thought on this is that we recently setup our site to route all pages through https. Maybe this is causing an issue with mailpoet’s cron agent?

We have had successful newsletters sent out in the past so not sure what else could be going on.

This has been resolved. It ended up being an issue with http versus https. When MailPoet Premium is setup to utilize MailPoet’s servers to trigger sending via wp-cron.php, apparently it only looks at http… so if requests for wp-cron.php are forwarding to https://domain.com/wp-cron.php, MailPoet’s servers will not be able to find the file to trigger it. Seems like something they should be checking for.

Also worth noting – despite being a premium customer, which guarantees a 24 hour response to support issues – I never heard back from MailPoet either via their support system or here on the forums. It’s possible they are no longer is business… something to keep in mind if you had planned on purchasing a premium license.

We are in business, we try our best to reply to everyone ASAP, but we are constantly flooded by tickets. If you are a Premium user, don’t get in touch here, go straight to our contact form at https://support.mailpoet.com/ as Premium users got answers with higher priority.

Glad to hear that MailPoet is still alive and well… although this adds to the confusion as to why, being a premium subscriber, I never heard back after submitting 3 support tickets over the course of 4 days. There was a confirmation message after each ticket submission on the MailPoet site indicating it was processed… but again, never got a reply. I saw replies from MailPoet on here, so thought I might have a better chance of getting a reply.

Regardless, the issue has been resolved. Thanks for the follow-up.
