Scheduled optimization not running

I’ve been using the plugin for some time on my site TheRedShtick.com and it has worked fine with optimizing my DB twice a day. However, in the last month or so, the scheduled optimization has not been running. Not sure if this is the problem, but it constantly shows “Next scheduled run : Jan 1, 1970 @ 00:00 hrs”
Please advise. Thanks.
