scheduled post author changing

Hi – A client of mine is having a problem with scheduled posts. There are numerous authors on the site and they all send her their posts and she creates them on the site, and attributes the correct author to the post and schedules them for release later in the week.

However, when they are published, she is shown as the author, not the author she changed to. She then has to go in to each post and change the author a second time, after they are published in order to correct.

Can anyone shed any light on this, has anyone seen it before and know a solution?
