Scheduled post deleting tag

This is happening to me too ?? 3.5 is totally removing linky scripts like <script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://www.inlinkz.com/cs.php?id=XXXXXX”></script&gt; when scheduled posts are published.

It also strips input box HTML code from this:

I hope it will be fixed soon! Right now it looks like I have to use drafts instead of scheduled posts so I don’t have to keep looking up linky scripts all over again.

When you’re experiencing issues, create your own thread and discuss them.

Excuse us for sharing our common problems! I personally don’t see the point in creating a million separate, but related threads — they’re even harder to follow.

The reason people are asked to look for topics with a similar issue to their own is to find resolved topics which may contain the answer. Posting a me-too post on an unresolved topic can derail the discussion if the issue is not exactly the same, even if on the surface it seems similar.

@cheryl-free, We generally ask that people create their own threads for their problems, because while we do encourage people helping each other out freely and cooperating to find solutions, most of the time posting about your problems in other people’s threads adds up to a “me too” situation, which doesn’t really help the original poster out any. Since most posters subscribe to their threads and thus get emailed about replies, we want to ensure that the replies are helpful and on-topic. Telling somebody having a problem that you have the same problem is not particularly conducive to finding a solution.

Now, with regards to the actual problem regarding scheduled posts, yes, this is a known bug in WordPress 3.5, discovered a couple weeks ago. A fix has been created and applied, and the fix will be in WordPress 3.5.1. You can track progress and information on this bug on this bug ticket:

Should we try applying one of the patches since the 3.5.1 update is only at 36%? I have 31 scheduled posts and hate to have to draft each one or add script again after publication.

I appreciate the information and usually follow the rules. What prompted my response is the thread opener’s question “Anyone else having this issue or have any idea what may be causing it?”

I’m happy to hear do’s and don’ts from forum editors and moderators, but I don’t need or appreciate a [ unnecessary rude comment moderated ] telling me what to do. I’ve been around the block — around the world for that matter ??

FYI. I used the cPanel code editor to apply 22944.3.patch and it works perfectly ?? My last scheduled post published in whole with complete script and input boxes.
