Scheduled post not showing

  • Hi, I’m having issues with scheduled posts. I have a food blog.
    I have an Onion Dip scheduled for the 29th (tomorrow). I’m republishing an old post.
    I scheduled it and then accepted revision. The plugin is set to accept the new date.?Right now if you type onion dip in the search box?of my blog?you can’t find the old post, it’s like there never was one.
    But if you search google the NEW post appears, which is not yet posted (link above).?And the post appears with tomorrow’s date online!
    What is going on?
    I’ve been using this plugin since June and it worked fine.

    Hello Paula.
    If I understand properly, you did set a future date of revision, saved it and merged two posts at the same time?

    If you want to work with future merging, you should set the date to the future and leave revision untouched. It should stay in your posts list.

    Then, when the time comes, WordPress will change status of revision to “publish” where merging mechanism kicks in automatically.
