Scheduled Posts not Publishing and Not Appearing in Edit Posts List

  • We currently have version 2.7 installed and this problem actually carried over from 2.6.?? Anyway, when I schedule a post for the future, it never actually posts. It also does not appear in the edit posts lists. If I go into the database the post_status field is blank.

    Anyway, I’ve gone through a lot of posts on this support site and I can’t find any answers to this. I have other installs of wordpress that do not have this problem. I’ve tried disabling all plugins and still have the problem.

  • This has been report via Trac Ticket 8737.

    From what you are saying you may need to edit the database and change to post_status to ‘draft’ and that should at least make them availabe under Post->Edit.

    Please backup your database before attempting manual changes.

    I am having the same problem. Good to know I’m not the only one. I can’t force them to post with 2.7 now. I thought upgrading would help the problem, but it didn’t. So now I’m thinking of downgrading, like mds1978 said.

    I have 6 blogs and it’s only happening on 1 of them. The most important one of course…

    Can someone please help? Anyone know what’s going on? HELP!!!!!
