• Whenever I schedule a post it posts instantaneously to Twitter instead of waiting until the post goes live.

I’m using the theme Divi v4.18.0 with WordPress v6.0.3

I tried looking in this forum before posting. It seems similar to the issue this person had with LinkedIn but, in my case, it’s with Twitter:

Please can you help? It really is tricky to see what to do.

Also, the posts I want publish now (and not schedule) tend to get tweeted twice.

This is less of a problem but not ideal obviously.

I fixed the duplicate tweeting but the I don’t think it affects the scheduling problem. Please help!

The plugin will tweet only if the post status is published, so make sure that post status is not changed to publish and then rescheduled.
    Also you can set
Auto publish on editing posts/pages/custom post types and Auto publish on creating posts/pages/custom post types to Disabled and override the publishing permission from metabox settings at post page when you want to auto post a particular post.

Also , the shared link of Linkedin publishing plugin is not ours.
    Hope this helps.

I checked this and can say it is not the problem. I select schedule time and it schedules. This then immediately gets tweeted by WP Twitter Auto Publish.

We were unable to replicate this issue at our end.
If you are using any other scheduling/publishing related plugins please share details, we will check for conflict.

Could it be related to Divi? That is the theme I use.

That aside, I don’t have any plugins that scheduling/publish posts.

    I use OneSignal Push Notifications.
I use Jetpack but not the scheduling with that.

There are no conflicts with OneSignal Push Notifications and jetpack plugin.
Please change your theme (temporarily) and schedule a post for checking conflict or issue with your active theme.
    Hope this helps.
