Scheduling posts–updates saves wrong titles, etc.

I have one post scheduled for a future date. I add a second one and when I schedule it, the title of the second switches to the title of the first, loses its tags and it’s categories. The update/publish/schedule button seems to come up randomly rather than appropriately when trying to alter the date to be published or to correct the problems with the title and tags. After many tries, I am able to finally able to correct the problem, but something is wrong here. I am beginning to think I need to do a reinstall of 3.8.1. This problem occurred after a couple weeks of everything working fine. If you look at the site, you shouldn’t see any problem; it is just as I am working on this at the backend.
