Schema Markup

Ok, but I don’t see the schema markup and also Google isn’t recognizing it.

I have created a download as described.

I used the Google schema tester and I can see the Product information correctly: https://validator.schema.org/#url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.topfgartenwelt.com%2Fdownloads%2Ftest-kochbuch

That is the base data that EDD can add. If you need a more advanced schema detail then you might need to add another plugin to the site that can enhance the functionality or add it’s own and disable the data that EDD adds using this code snippet:

 remove_filter( 'wp_footer', array( EDD()->structured_data, 'output_structured_data' ) );
