• Greetings Yoast Team,

    The BreadcrumbList in Schema.org is now fully (has been for a couple of months) operational. The current v: https://rdf.data-vocabulary.org/# being used by Yoast should no longer be the preferred method according to Google.

    I was wondering if an update was being planned to switch over to the Schema.org method soon?

    Thank you.

    Feel free to try it:

    <ol itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/BreadcrumbList">
      <li itemprop="itemListElement" itemscope
          itemtype="https://schema.org/ListItem">
        <a itemprop="item" href="https://example.com/dresses">
        <span itemprop="name">Dresses</span></a>
        <meta itemprop="position" content="1" />
      </li>
    ? <li itemprop="itemListElement" itemscope
          itemtype="https://schema.org/ListItem">
        <a itemprop="item" href="https://example.com/dresses/real">
        <span itemprop="name">Real Dresses</span></a>
        <meta itemprop="position" content="2" />
      </li>
    </ol>
