Two issues, one that may resolve the other.

    1. Yoast displays on all ‘Posts’ and ‘Pages’ but does not display on the Dashboard, nor does it display in the Screen Options tab to even check off.

    2. I’m receiving “Your homepage cannot be indexed by search engines. This is very bad for SEO and should be fixed.” – and it is set to be indexed in search engine visibility.

I’ve gone ahead and disabled all plugins but Yoast and it still doesn’t appear in the Screen Options. I also did the Health Check but no solution.

    Thanks in advance.

1: When you say that Yoast is not appearing on the dashboard, are you referring to the ‘Yoast SEO Posts Overview’ dashboard widget? If you aren’t seeing this option, can you please confirm you are using the most recent Yoast v9.2.1? You can learn more about updating here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

Can you confirm you are using WordPress 4.9.8? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. 2: Can you please provide the URL of your site so we can review whether there is anything that would prevent the site from being indexed?
